Mia's 13th Birthday Party at Home - Backyard

Lovely Mia asked for a "Bright Boho" theme for her birthday party. Our 6x3m Marquee came in very handy as we'd been having showers all week. The girls came dressed in fluro and absolutely loved the decor. Bright table cloths and cushions, lace, flowers, crystal, dream catchers, our pearl chandelier, lanterns, bunting and more all came together making it a very special evening. Check out the party favour key rings we made especially for the girls as well as the mandala we painted on a canvas especially for the party. Oh, and of course our little mini tipis made from party hats - such a great idea! Best of all Mia's Mum & Dad could sit back and relax AND the following morning we had it all packed away! It was like we were never there! Gotta love a stress free Mum and Dad :)

Biggest Morning Tea - The Entrance

Hosted by Tiarna Gawthorne - an up and coming pastry chef and cake decorator on the Central Coast, was this vintage themed high tea raising funds for the Cancer Council. Usually a space hired out as a dance studio at The Entrance Community Centre, we were able to add our decorative pieces to set the scene. Bird cages, pink lanterns, lace parasols, tea chests, vintage suitcases, soft blue table cloths with lace runners, lots of flowers and lots of beautiful crockery all came together really well. We've never seen so many raffle prizes all donated by local businesses - yep, the Central Coast sure is a very special place! $3000 was raised on the day! This along with all the yummy cakes and slices & beautiful teas made the day a huge success!

Samantha's 1st Birthday Party - Lamb Theme

Held in the country for this sweet little girl, friends and family gathered to celebrate her 1st Birthday. Samantha loves lambs so it was easy to come up with a theme. The huge trees and lush greenery were the perfect backdrop for the lolly buffet, memory tree, "farm" play area for the kids and lawn games. Each table had pretty pink runners, flowers, little sheep in pens crafted by us, knitting needles and a ball of wool. The canvas "Counting Sheep" we painted was so loved by Samantha's Mum that she  ended up taking it home, bless! We love the little string of knitted baby clothing out on the deck - very girly and perfect for the theme. We had so much fun doing the crafty bits and pieces for this party - that's what made it unique!

Elegant 18th Birthday Party

It was all about elegance when Julia gathered her girlfriends to celebrate her 18th Birthday. This party was held on the back deck of Julia's family home and the deck was completely transformed! The table was set for 15 girls to enjoy a champagne punch and finger food. We stuck to black, white, silver and crystals to keep it stylish with just a pop of colour in the peacock feathers and balloon. Silky black table cloths, mirrors, our Eiffel Tower vases filled with white feathers, crystals scattered, black lace trimming around our votives and wine glasses and our lovely mirrored LOVE sign made the table absolutely beautiful. Add to that our gorgeous white chiffon draping on the ceiling and super elegant chandelier along with fairy lights and candles, the space felt cosy on a Winter's evening. We used our silver signing table for the lolly buffet and our white signing table for drinks. Fancy props were at the ready for the girls to us as their photo booth

Tayah's 13th Birthday

What a fun party this was to decorate! Oh, to be 13 again! To celebrate her first teenage year, Tayah decided on a bright Boho theme. The Berkeley Vale Community Hall was transformed for the night and what a cool set up it was for the kids. We created a few "zones" for them to enjoy leaving plenty of space for the D-Floor. We used pallets with brightly coloured cloths and plenty of cushions inside along a large strip of artificial turf and floor rugs. Our white bench seats and festoon lights made a great area outside to chill. A fabulous photo booth with plenty of props and backdrops was a huge hit as was the slushy and fairy floss stations. The DJ with his glitzy backdrop kept them dancing till late and a few lawn games also kept them entertained. We enjoyed adding all the "Boho" touches - dream catchers, wall hangings, lots of lace and our super cute tipis in the windows looked amazing!

Jessie's 21st

Before heading out to Terrigal, Jessie's family and friends were having a couple of pre-dinner drinks & nibbles at home. We had the pleasure of adding a few decorative touches to the family home and were so happy with the result. Jessie is such a chilled guy who loves music so we kept it simple and fairly neutral with a few music themed touches. An old guitar case was perfect for cards and gifts, music notes inside jars were great for LED candles, our music stand looked cute with a specially created picture we gave to Jessie. Our antique doors looked great as did our large wooden key and antique keys - very symbolic of a 21st celebration.

Angela's Hen's Night

What a delightful property this was to set up for a Hen's Party! Stunning country backdrop at Jilliby for a special lady celebrating her Hen's. Our peacock chair was the perfect addition for Ange to feel "Queen" for a day. A casual yet chic sitting area using pallets, crates, cushions and floor rugs was a comfy spot to get the girls together for a night of laughs and a Prosecco or two! As the sun went down, our festoon and fairy lights added to the ambience as well as an open fire. Congratulations to Ange who has since tied the knot with her handsome beau Sam xxx

Melbourne Cup Day

Our set up for Jessie's 21st is what caught the eye of the owners of Property Central - a highly regarded real estate agent at Long Jetty. Each year they like to put on something special for their team for MCD and this year, they decided to take the pressure off themselves and hand the reigns over to us! Of course, we were buzzing with excitement as creative freedom was handed over fully. The boardroom was a great space to work with. We were able to use our ornate white arbour decorated with greenery and floral as the entry - added to that some artificial turf, picket fence and bunnies it made a great spot for photos and a fabulous first impression! We decided on a colour scheme made up primarily of purple, red and gold. We used one of our black plinths on it's side to create some height on the huge boardroom table, layered cloths and runners and topped with vases full of fresh wheat grass, gold horse shoes, our gold horse head statue, red vases and votives and a lovely big punch bowl with an empty champa's bottle and red stilettos as a fun prop ;) Other details included our handmade paper flowers on the glass, trophy cut outs, jockey jacket, red sashes, bunting and lanterns.

**Credit must be given to Julie Duell - a very talented artist and you will see her "Man From Snowy River" oil painting here - a perfect prop.

**A huge thank you to Paula Hardwick who catered this event - the food she prepared looked absolutely delicious and the team at Property Central had rave reviews.

Anne's Birthday

Beautiful Anne decided to have a relaxed evening at home with close friends to celebrate her birthday. This lovely flat backyard at Chittaway Bay was the perfect spot to create a Boho sitting area. After setting up a few Bright Boho parties recently, we were excited to stick to neutrals for this one. Really happy with how fresh and pretty this setting turned out. We loved being able to use our rattan screen divider along with our Mama, Papa and Baby Bear rustic lanterns which looked so pretty at night. Lots of comfy cushions and low seating, pallets, floor rugs, sea grass mats, lace, candles, fairy lights, flowers, bunting and table runners all came together beautifully. Anne was so over the moon with how pretty it looked and her guests absolutely loved the ambience!

Ashley and Sherie's Engagement

The historic Matcham Hall was the setting for this Engagement Party and we could feel the love in the air as we set it up! Such a gorgeous couple, soon to be Mr and Mrs Cheers - such a great surname :) Sherie loved our white lanterns and we teamed them up with hessian & lace runners, jars and votives with flowers and candles on the tables - it looked so pretty! Our mobile bar was perfect outside for guests to help themselves to beverages. Our wine barrel and a couple of bar tables were great for nibblies and for people to stand around mingling. With lots of kids attending, 3 little tipis and some comfy cushions were a big hit for a "kid's space" - look how cute they are!... as was a fantastic prop/photo booth set up by Sherie - it kept them off the electronics and entertained all evening! Our new addition gold framed mirror looked lovely at the entrance - look at all that beautiful bush land in the reflection! And our metal hearts with fairy lights just sum up the occasion - LOVE!

Chris' 70th Birthday

Family Birthday dinner at The Entrance Lake House to celebrate lovely lady Chris' 70th. We love this venue so were super excited to decorate the Loft. We went with a "nature loving" theme and were really happy with how the table looked. Wood rounds, moss, old man's beard and wattle brought nature in along with cute little animal ornaments. Added to this some fairy lights and votives & lanterns for candle light, the setting was simply delightful!
